America Is Not Our God

What I’m about to write will shock some people, others may get upset, some may be confused, others may already be in agreement, but hopefully, many will find truth, solace and peace; solace and peace is the intent. I pray that anyone who reads this would do so with an open mind and heart so that truth may set you free.

I have spent many years (decades) with my head in the sand fighting and arguing over what’s right, what’s wrong, what solution best fits the problem and being angry with those opposed. I have learned over the years that most of my internal angst had been programmed in me by the influence of others, the culture around me, personal predisposition, genetics, etc.. These factors culminate in certain behaviors, good or bad, that flow from every human being and are based in the influence surrounding us.

I have always considered myself a ‘patriot’. I am proud to be an American veteran and have a deep love for those with whom I served. I love my country and am committed to the restoration of its foundational principles. I mention this to frame the rest of this message and affirm my commitment to my country and fellow American’s.

Our nation is in deep trouble. The source of trouble is absolutely not dependent on the political party in control, we are in trouble because we have abandoned our foundation; both parties are guilty and WE have been derelict in our duty. I would ask any honest, intelligent person to reflect on the past (50) years of politics. It has not mattered which party was in control, not much changes. If you look back you’ll see that very bad decisions were made on both sides through the various administrations but there has always been two underlying constants, power and greed. Instead of voting for individuals based on principles (foundation/morals), WE have voted based on our personal preferences, personal gain and/or complete ignorance of the WHO we cast our votes for; this in itself is a personal quest for power and greed.

The beauty of President Donald Trump’s presidency was not so much all the things he accomplished but the way he exposed much of the corruption in Washington D.C., the media and the global elites (deep state) to a sleeping populace. Don’t get me wrong, he undoubtedly outperformed any POTUS in the history of this nation through his unbelievable drive and work ethic, however, the deep state within BOTH parties assured his defeat. He was a surprise to the elites in 2016 as they miscalculated the angst of the American people.

The recent election irregularities (fraud) were real, exceedingly obvious and statistically impossible to anyone paying attention no matter the weak arguments to the contrary; this message is not to start another petty argument so please don’t go there. No matter what side you take, you should be deeply concerned. I digress….. the point is, the lesson that should be taken from his presidency is wake-up! Not a wake-up to more political haggling but wake-up to the fact that we have lost our way individually. WE have been programmed to take a political side, which are claim polar opposition in ‘stated’ ideology but collude with one another behind the scenes to achieve a greater agenda both personal (greed) and as a whole (power).

Get ready, I’m fixin’ to mess with your programming, which may make you angry but hopefully it will help you de-program a bit and put things in perspective.

America has lost its way….. WE have lost our way. WE have been lied to for decades and taught to be loyal patriots to our country no matter where the corrupt politicians take us. I have brothers that have been maimed/killed, children without fathers, wives without husbands, sons, daughters, etc.. all under false pretenses of doing the patriotic thing while politicians gain the spoils. We pay taxes and struggle to squeeze out a good living while our money is shipped overseas and wasted on special interests. We have our civil liberties stripped away in the name of safety when actually it serves a deeper purpose of control and regulation…. I can go on but I’m tired of typing and you’re probably tired of reading if you made it this far.

No matter who sits on the American throne, the republic we’ve known is all but lost, not because of this election but because of what’s been eating away at America for generations…. sin. It is a sad day to come to the realization that much of what you’ve been programmed to believe is a façade, however, it’s time to put on your big boy/girl pants and come to terms with it in your hearts and minds. No doubt tougher times are coming….. we were all forewarned many years ago by the Son of God Himself and it won’t be because of any one country, nation or leader…. it will be due to an increasingly sick and fallen world.

Folks, you need to stop all the meaningless fighting about politics, rally’s/riots, who’s right, who’s wrong, etc. WE ARE ALL WRONG!!!! I understand you’re angry, I’m angry too… but more at understanding the root cause and inability to change it, which is sin. There is only one thing that is important and there’s only one thing that will heal our nation and ‘right’ each one of us individually…. trust in GOD… period!

He is our foundation, He is our provider, He is our peace, He is our comfort, He is always in control, He is the only one that can right the wrongs…. you’ve tried to do it yourself…. how’s that working for ya’?...... Just STOP!

When you surrender yourself and your ways to Him, you will always be in conflict with any side you take in this world. Jesus spoke very clearly about these things…. “If the world hates you, keep in mind it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of this world. That is why the world hates you. (John 15:18-19)”.

If you are a believer in Christ, you will always be in conflict with the ways of this world, this nation, this government, both parties and even in your own homes. Why? Because they are not of Him……. WE need His direction.

Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble but take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

If you take this message to heart and move your focus from this world on to Him, peace awaits.
