Perfection Lost

We enter this world knowing nothing. As we learn the basic functions of feeding, mobility and communication, we begin to learn all these things based on what is seen and heard around us. The perfection of which we were born, begins to be shaped and corrupted by our surroundings, even in the best circumstances. As we grow, learn and begin to think/act on our own, the guidance of our learning is reflected through our actions and subsequent consequences, thus, the perfection of our creation is increasingly lost over time. The cares of the world affect every aspect of our lives and our internal struggle becomes one of personal preservation by any means necessary, only bridled by the limits established by our environment. The greater the corruption of the environment, the further we stray from our original perfection. No truth is more relevant and recognizable than the times we are in today.
Perfection comes from God alone. He is the creator and standard for all things created. He initially gave us law to regain His perfection but we were unable to keep it due to the corruption of sin. He then sent His Son to walk among us, suffer our temptations, model His perfection, teach His ways and give His life as atonement for our sin. The only way to be near to God during those times was to follow the Tabernacle or walk with Jesus but God provided a way for all of us to walk with Him constantly, provide guidance and teach us His perfection…. His Holy Spirit, which is why Jesus said,” I must go so the Holy Spirit can come”.
The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to guide us, direct our thoughts/actions and provide a source of wisdom that guides us back to our original perfection. In order to walk closely with God in this life, you must seek Him through prayer, His Word, and others who are filled with His Spirit, however, this remnant is becoming exceedingly rare! Deception is overwhelming the world and has breeched the church. In order to begin to overcome the corruption, false teaching/deception that has infiltrated our lives, we must be born again and renewed by His Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit is the only source able to guide us back to our original perfection, we must become as small children again (Jesus’ words, not mine). We must be de-programmed of all corruption that has entered our hearts and minds.
The mistake that is made by most is trying to do this on their own with minds that are programmed toward personal preservation and the cares of this world. It’s only through the Holy Spirit that our minds are renewed. It’s only through the Word of God that we can know His ways. It’s only through prayer that we can learn the voice of God and find His direction for our lives. If this is not our focus, struggle and failure will be our constant battle and shape our ultimate destiny.
Tapping into the guidance of the Holy Spirit does not mean your life will be filled with happiness, it will actually produce inner and outward conflict; you will find that with the more knowledge, understanding and wisdom you develop and act upon, the more pain will be experienced. As Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 1:18 – ‘For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.’ In contrast to knowledge, understanding and wisdom, lies ignorance, which once understood and neglected, results in stupidity.
We will find that this life is either filled with vanity or filled with the pain and sorrow of unraveling inner/outer corruption, which is oddly fulfilling and brings much joy!
Without the pursuit of the leadership of His Holy Spirit, everything we create is in vain!
We are nearing the end of an age where the lines are clearly drawn. The ever-widening chasm between good and evil has reached a point where the gap can no longer be straddled. Those straddling between good and evil, the world and God, their sin and His statutes, will fall into the pit of confusion they have continually straddled. Some will tire of the straddle battle and make a conscious decision to abandon God in favor of the erroneous god that winks at their sin (satan), and a remnant will abandon this increasingly sin-sick world and follow the Creator of all things, the lover of our soul, our perfector, our redeemer.
Your time is up! The next step is up to you, choose this day whom you will serve!
